Today I returned to Ireland. I had a great time in Alfeld where I shared some good ol‘ German beer with my „homies“, spend a lot of time with my family and ate way to much of the „good stuff“.
I could write for ages without covering even more than yesterday evening (which was truly brilliant!), but I prefer to dedicate this blog to my adventures in Ireland and I think noone would like to read all of that anyway.

So here I am. Back. Finally. Why „finally“? Well, while my flight to Germany went well, coming back was rather stressful. Diesen Beitrag weiterlesen »

Cliffs of Moher

Sundway I finally saw the Cliffs of Moher. Warning: this article contains photos of breathtaking landscapes that may cause itchy feet. Proceed at own risk. However, it is recommended!

Unfortunately I was not able to take a picture of the bikers that were dressed up as Santa Claus.

I’m currently on my way back to Germany where I want to spend Christmas with friends and family. Probably I’ll be back in Ireland on New Year’s Eve. See you!

P.S.: Yeah, I’ll post some photos from the Cliffs of Moher soon. Word!

A Night in Galway

Dienstag, 16. Dezember 2008, 17:22 Uhr von Felix

Saturday afternoon I took the intercity to Galway although I did not feel to well. I simply did not want to miss this semester’s last trip with the InCuSo. The ride with Iarnród Éireann was very comfortable: a brand new train with light interior and comfortable seats. It took me about 140 minutes to get from Heuston, Dublin to the city centre of Galway. The price of €19,50 for a student ticket was okay as well.

When I arrived at quarter past seven, I was picked up by some friends and led to the Snoozels Hostel, which is a great place to stay. Thank you, guys!
