Auf der Webseite der Welt fand ich heute einen Artikel zum Leben mit dem Sparkurs in Irland: „Staatsziel sparen – so fühlt sich Leben in Irland an“. Anhand von sieben Schicksalen wird illustriert, wie sich das Leben der Iren geändert hat. Wirklich sehr lesenswert.

If you had told me a year ago about one of the professors at the University of Bamberg referencing John Singleton’s Boyz n the Hood, a ghetto drama set in South Central L.A. starring Ice Cube and Cuba Gooding Jr., in a lecture on IT Strategy, I would probably have laughed at and ridiculed you. Believe it or not: it happened a few days ago.

Today, we ate steaks in the canteen. Monkey gland steaks. And that wasn’t just the name of the dish: there was actually a steak on my plate. And it was tasty. Woohoo!

Ich glaube bei Spiegel Online sind Teile der Redaktion mittlerweile vollkommen übergeschnappt. Wie ich darauf komme? Der nachfolgende Screenshot aus dem Artikel „Die fiesen Rituale der Business-Elite“ weiß dies gekonnt zu illustrieren.

Der hervorgehobene Satz nimmt mir den Atem. Und „Kulturrevolution“. Echt jetzt?

Wer schreibt so etwas? Die viel drängendere Frage ist jedoch: Wer gibt das zur Veröffentlichung frei und präsentiert es auf der Startseite?
