On Saturday morning at nine a.m., we met in front of the ITT Dublin in order to board the chartered bus that would bring us to the North.

A few hours ago, I arrived back home from our first trip with the International Culture Society, which led us to Northern Ireland. I just went over a huge pile of photos and prepared some posts that I will publish in the course of this week.

You’ll see some pictures that might arouse the deep desire to visit Ireland. You have been warned!

This morning, An Post delivered a Care package from Alfeld, my home town. It contained another pair my beloved Nike Air Force One sneakers, my pair of running shoes, the Zen MP3 player, which arrived in Alfeld a few hours after my departure and a rather strange selection of sportswear (my shortest pair of running shorts? I’m in Ireland!).

Forty days. That’s approximately the time I’ve spent in my tiny bedroom – more than enough. Wednesday evening I moved into a double bedroom on the other side of our house.
It has two large windows, a little make-up table that I misuse as a desk, a better network connection, a whole lot of space, an ensuite bathroom and my bed is now 140×190. This night I really felt like the king of Kingswood Heights. Maybe I’ll post some photos later on.
Of course, the room is much more expensive (especially because of the bathroom, which I do not really need), but I did not have enough space in the other one.

Alejandro said this weekend: „You don’t meet nice people in night clubs. If you want to meet nice people, go to a library.“
I can’t remember the context anymore, but there’s certainly a handful of universal truth in this statement.
