The weather was just a bit too nice during the last weeks… Today all hell broke lose: the rain just bucketed down as if it tried to smash us.
So I went to the local branch of Millets in The Square and decided to buy a light, hooded Peter Storm jacket (I thought the brand name is promising). Now, my wallet lacks 90€, but at last I can walk around outside without getting soaked.

Yesterday, a huge caravan of Erasmus students left Tallaght in order to celebrate Maxime’s birthday. The party was in the city centre, in a flat near O’Connel Street and the Spire and it was by far the best location for a party that I came across so far: an luxurious, spacious apartment on fifth floor of a modern building with a big balcony.
While sipping a drink or two, I enjoyed the company of ~70-80 fellow students and a wonderful view, but see for yourself:

There is a variety of clubs and societies at the ITT and they play a major role in college life. The college even employs someone who coordinates all the activities.
Islam Society, Christian Society, Football, Rugby, Gaelic Football, Hurling, Badminton, Table Tennis, Golf, Mountainbiking, Athletics, Mature Students, Ultimate Frisbee, Teakwondo, Basketball… it is really not easy to decide what to do. Like almost all of the Erasmus students, I joined the International Culture Society (InCuSo). In fact, this is just a code name for the Erasmus-plan-trips-and-partys Society.
