Care package

This morning, An Post delivered a Care package from Alfeld, my home town. It contained another pair my beloved Nike Air Force One sneakers, my pair of running shoes, the Zen MP3 player, which arrived in Alfeld a few hours after my departure and a rather strange selection of sportswear (my shortest pair of running shorts? I’m in Ireland!).

A big thank you to my father!

Dun Laoghaire

Yesterday, Natalie, Tom, Chris and I took the bus 75 from Tramway Court to Dun Laoughaire. It took ages, but I think it was worth it: the port is beautiful, includes a yacht club (Tom: „St. Tropez in Ireland“) and you have an awesome view on Dublin bay:

Downside: the town itself is rather boring.

While sipping a drink or two, I enjoyed the company of ~70-80 fellow students and a wonderful view, but see for yourself:

Campus of the ITT Dublin

The main campus of the Institute of Technology is located in the centre of Tallaght, which itself is located in the South West periphery of Dublin. It takes just a few minutes to the biggest shopping centre, „The Square“, and the adjacent Luas stop „Tallaght“. My little room in Kingswood Heights is in walking distance, too. It takes me approximately 20 minutes to get there, but as you know: Diesen Beitrag weiterlesen »
